 The first 3-5 days of healing-During these first days is Normal to experience some bruising, tenderness, localized swelling, light scabbing, and weeping of fluid including ink.-Leave protective adhesive "Saniderm" on your tattoo at least for 24 to 48Hrs-As your body heals itself, it will produce a “Liquid Scab”Once you take Saniderm off preferably inthe shower wash off carefully sticky discharge Using an antibacterial or antimicrobial soap with no added fragrance is important. Please rinse your soap off thoroughly as to prevent irritation. After washing your tattoo, gently pat dry with a disposable paper towel.-To reduce the risk of infection, do not use bath towels, wash cloths, or toilet paper.-No Baths(showers are fine),Gym, recreational water activities, gardening, or contact with animals, for one to two weeks.-Once dry, you may apply a thin and moisturizing layer of "unscented lotion" or artist recommended aftercare when at home and area is clean. Please consult with your tattoo artist if you have a certain product in mind.-Always wash your hands before applying product. To prevent cross-contamination always purchase new aftercare. Make sure to throw leftovers away once they are no longer needed.-persistent redness and or yellowish coloring or discharge may be a sign of infection. Contact your artist or seek medical attention if symptoms continue.-limit heavy exercise for two weeks.-Signs and symptoms of infection could also include red streaks going from procedure area to heart and elevated body temperature
